Mothers Day Plates
Denmark is famous for its porcelain wall plates and its blue under glaze.

In 1970 the Désirée Porcelain Factory issued the first of the Mothers Day Plates in a series of twenty-five, painted in blue under glaze,drawn by famous Danish artists and with motifs based on typical situations from the charming world of chikdren. Mothers Day Plate number twenty-five ended the series in 1994.

All Mothers Day Plates have only been produced in the year they are issued,  and are subject to collector's
attention. Although some of the editions to day are very difficult to find in the market,  the Désirée Porcelain
Factory still participate  in this trade,  and it is in most periods possible to order the complete collection  from
